I am fortunate enough to live in Aberdeenshire, in the north-east of Scotland, which has many great locations for bird watching. We have a lot of woodland, rivers, lochs, fields, nature reserves and the north-east coast. This allows to me to find and photograph many types of bird without travelling too far.

In the local area we have ospreys, puffins, gannets, owls and a whole plethora of other bird species, as well as occasional exotic visitors such as Waxwings.
I try to get out bird watching once a week or so and I’ve started to document my bird photography trips on my Bird Watching YouTube channel.
